Happy Spring from 4Skör!
We had a blast last week at Waycik Productions “Boy Bands, EH?” Cabaret Series at 120 Diner. Amanda Pereira was hilarious – hosting the evening and keeping us all on our toes as she took us through 1995-2000’s boy band trivia. The creative team and cast of Generation Why? sang some of the best boy band hits of our time (and there were some amazing voices; Tess Barao, Moulan Bourke, Bailey Dalton, Dustin George and Eric McDace!) and of course, the crowd was pretty pleased when they learned 4Skör’s very own Peter Luciano was in the crowd!
That’s right – back in the 90’s, Pete was part of V.I.P. (Voices In Public). V.I.P. had a hit-single, “It’s Just My Luck”, two cross-Canada tours and won ‘Best New Group’ at the 1999 CRMA’s and a Genie award for ‘Best Original Song’ in 2000 for “One Thing To Say”.
And we love that these gals still have some V.I.P. on their playlists!
Gotta love a great boy band.
